Today we went to Provins, a 12th century city accessible by bus from the Marriott. We got to see a wonderful show of eagles, falcons, and other birds of prey. They swooped right over my hat, brushed it, and hit Larry slightly on the head.

We are sitting in the Admiral's Club in Charlotte watching the Masters opening day.At the moment Jordan Speith is leading and in the clubhouse. Go Jordan!
As a special teat we are flying first class. Using points from our Marriott exchanges. The picture is of Connie as we begin to deplane in Paris. You can see that first class fits with her.
Here is a brief summary of our schedule:
Friday 8 April - Marne la Vallee near Disney Eorld Europe.
Saturday 9 April - Bus to Provins and back.
Sunday 10 April - Train to Mont St. Michelle wher Claire Collin will be our guide. They to Bayeux where we will spend the night.
Monday 11 April - Claire takes us on a thorough of the American Landing Zone in Normandy June 1945.
Tuesday 12 March - Visit the Bayeux Tapestry and return by train to Paris.
Wednesday 13 March. Train to Reims for a visit to the Champagne capita. Helen and Paul join us.
Thursday 14 April - The Loire Valley: Amboise, Chenonceau, and probably Villandry. Diana Bamford-Rees joins us.
Friday 15 April to Friday 22 April - Join the AMA Legro for a 7 night, 8 day river cruise to Normandy and back.
Friday 22 April - Paris
Saturday 23 April - Paris including a concert at Sainte Chapelle
Sunday 24 April - Paris
Monday 25 April - Chateau Malmason Josephine and Napoleon
Tuesday 26 April - To Be Decided
Wednesday - Return to the USA
